This course looks at where the Baptists came from what they believe and how they govern their churches. The course also explores the ordinances and practices of the Baptists.

Students will look at how the Baptists have changed over time from the 1600s, to now. They will examine what the Baptists believe like baptizing people who're old enough to decide for themselves and being free to practice their own religion.

The students will also look at how the Baptists make decisions in their churches and think about whether this way of doing things good or bad. They will consider what the Baptists do when they worship, what they think is important and how they try to make the world a better place. The course will also look at what the Baptists are doing around the world. The course integrates historical, theological, and practical perspectives for ministry, scholarship, and faithful Baptist identity
