GS 1500 — Introduction to Physical Science
An introductory survey of the physical sciences for students with little or no previous science background. The course introduces scientific inquiry and foundational concepts in physics, chemistry, earth science, and astronomy, helping students understand matter, energy, motion, earth systems, and the physical universe.
IS 3500 — Theology and Physical Sciences
A graduate interdisciplinary study of the physical sciences in dialogue with Christian theology. The course examines major topics in physics, chemistry, earth science, astronomy, and cosmology while exploring theological questions concerning creation, natural law, providence, divine action, and the relationship between scientific and theological knowledge.
