SF 0101 Devotional Life is Chin Academy’s zero-credit Open Course in Christian spiritual formation, designed to help learners cultivate a sustainable life of communion with God and faithful Christian living. Through biblical teaching, guided reflection, and practical exercises, the course introduces foundational practices that nurture attentiveness to God, growth in Christlike character, perseverance through different seasons of life, and faithful presence in the church and the world.

The course is open to all learners, whether or not they are enrolled in a Chin Academy academic program. All Chin Academy students are required to complete SF 0101 once during their program of study. Because it carries 0 credit units, it does not contribute to degree-credit requirements or GPA and is recorded on a Complete/Incomplete basis.

SF 0101 is offered every academic term as a self-paced online course through Moodle, allowing learners to complete the course according to their own schedule within the term. While the normal format is fully self-paced, this particular offering also includes live Zoom lessons as a special component of the course.
