As a 5000-level course, NT 5225 belongs to Chin Academy’s research course category and functions as a concentration course in the New Testament area.
NT 4225 Theology of the New Testament introduces students to the major theological themes, message, and unity of the New Testament. The course explores how the New Testament witnesses to Jesus Christ, the kingdom of God, salvation, the church, the Holy Spirit, discipleship, mission, ethics, and Christian hope.
Students will study the theological contributions of the Gospels, Acts, Paul’s letters, the General Epistles, and Revelation while learning how these writings together form a coherent witness to God’s redemptive work in Christ.
