This course is designed to prepare students to study, analyze, evaluate,  discuss, and present the current trends and issues in Christian Education in the research format. The students are expected to develop their critical thinking skills in writing and presenting their research topics in 
the area of Christian Education.

This advanced research course guides students in the study of selected issues, texts, themes, and methods in New Testament studies. Students will engage the New Testament through careful exegesis, historical and literary context, theological interpretation, and responsible use of scholarly sources. Special attention is given to developing a focused research question, evaluating major scholarly discussions, constructing a clear argument, and writing a research paper that contributes to biblical and theological understanding for the church. As a 5000-level course, NT 5225 belongs to Chin Academy’s research course category and functions as a concentration course in the New Testament area.
